Dome Light Wiring?
My dome light did not work when I bought the truck just a few weeks ago, and I just tried a new bulb last night. Well it did not work. I guess it might be the wiring. I have not tried to see if I am getting any power through the wiring but whether I do or not, does anyone know where the wiring for that light runs? Do I take out the headliner to trace it or does it run down a post to the floor somewhere?

Before you start pulling the headliner,(which is a pain in my opinion) check your fuses. I believe the one that powers the cig. lighter is the same one that runs the dome light. If the fuse is good, check the door switches by jumping across one to see if the light comes on.
