I would get a some at the hardware store and cut a screwdriver slot in the head. If allen heads would not stick up too high, I would prefer to use them with a washer.
Did you try the MotorHaven site here? If you come up dry, there are lots of companies that specialize in the 67-72 trucks that sell bolt kits for beds, step side and style side.
We used bumper bolts to hold the bed on my son's 66 short wide. Wanted to use stainless but had trouble finding 7/16" stainless carriage bolts and settled on bumper bolts with a stainless cap. They were available in a variety of lengths from the local parts house.

I know that hardware stores will generally carry 3/8 and 1/2 carriage bolts. The 7/16 carriage bolt is an oddball. I even went to a supply house that deals only with bolts and such. They could order the 7/16 carriage bolts. I just stopped by a few auto parts stores and found some bumber bolts in the Help rack.
