Crazy Radio

Hopefully ther is an audio person out there. I have a '00 Explorer with the stock head unit and factory 6-disc changer. The display on the head unit has a mind of its own. At times the display is lit and most of the time it is not. But the whole time the radio is working. I am wondering if this is something that can be fixed or if someone knows what wire may be loose.

I went with the swap program since my soldering skills are quite rusty plus I had limited time. The swap program worked great and the owner, Duane, was a pleasure to work with.
