Power steering pully puller

Does anyone know what the puller for the power steering looks like? I have to R&R the pump but you need to pull the pully which is plastic (cant use a gear puller), the center section looks like its where it goes but a battery term puller isn't strong enough, but it is the right size.

Any help appreciated. 94 4.0

You can rent a steering wheel puller from most parts stores.

Or if you have one handy, try a harmonic balancer type of puller. They don't have the jaws:

Rockledge, thanks but these will not work on the pump pulley. I wish they would but there is no place to put the bolts and the pulley itself is plastic, I chipped a piece as it is.

Is a picture taken from the Ford Ranger manual published by Haynes (ISBN 1 56392 391 2) showing the tool used to remove it.

This picture from the same source shows the tool to install it. The manuals states in both cases, the tools should be "readily available at local auto supply stores".

Many years ago (1980's)they cost 75$ apiece, I know I own a set. They were bought for me by an A/C shop I used to work for that has since gone out of business, so they became mine.
They are a "MUST" to R&R the pulley, since it is pressed on.

Maybe autozone has them to loan?

Thanks guys appreciate it. I tried to use a 2 jaw puller but it didn't even budge. Will check autozone in the AM and if they dont have just take to a shop to see if they will pop off put on.

Thanks again.
