Ever since I said Ryan looked cheap in that red mini-skirt he had on last Saturday night he's been pouting.
Sky is about the only folks I know making a "kit". I know a guy who used their stuff and it was high quality. Probably a decent route to go if your not comfortable doing it yourself.
lol...just gotta mess with you pro cause you can handle it...hey, on another note where can i get cheap electric fans for my truck? Its still stock motor but i need power freed up.
Exactly. It would be boring in here if you couldn't mess with the other guys who also had a good sense of humor. As far as fans go, well you could pay an arm and an leg for an aftermarket set up (and who wants to do that?), or do what I did and ****** a couple out of the junk yard and wire 'em up to a marine grade relay. With my two fiero fans, marine relay, and sheetmetal shroud I think my set up ran about $75. Eventually, I want to buy one of those probes that only turn the fans on at a certain temp...you can buy them for around $70 bucks I think. I've just got it switched for now. Another bonus is the free power, faster warm ups, and no more broken blades in water crossings.
Aren't we supposed to post new off-topic questions in new threads anyways?
Well, mostly I imagine your like me and just can't leave well enough alone with tinkering, but this is one of those mods that is well justified. The gains are small but they are gains nonetheless. And all those tiny gains add up.
Well, I'm out. I was just "summoned" to bed by the wife. I think that cheap mini skirt is coming off
