Steering wheel coating rubbing off?

On my Truck, it has a tan "leather" steering wheel. But where i normaly rest my hands, its beginning to wear off. It looks like its black underneath the tan, and im constantly getting little tiny bits of steering wheel "leather" all over my hand. Anyway to fix this without putting on a cover?

Keep your hands off the steering wheel??

Keepin' it clean and covering it seems the best solution to me.

Take it back and have it replaced. I had 3 wheels on my 150 before I got one that didn't do that.

I have a 2002 Excursion PSD and currenly are on my 2nd stearing wheel. The first one did the exact same thing that yours is doing. The one i have now is starting to do the same , so back to the dealer i go...
