Going to a 32" is not going to do much. The only real way to go is with gears. I wouldnt mess with the TPS. 4.10s and 33"s are very commuter, as well as offroad friendly (a big help with towing too). There is no "cheap" way to get around this. It all has to do with the mechanical advantage of lower gears.

Thanks for the compliment. I had to import that truck from Miami (god knows New England weather isnt kind to these vehicles). The pictures were taken on my birthday last year after she had come back from the detailers.
Hey big ol truck, that truck looks nice with the tire lift combo u have.I have a 89 EB bronco myself same color and everything as u have. Thanks for making that post, i was thinking of going with the lager 33" but after you said it hunts I'll go for the 31 10.50 's If it was me I would think about what it would cost to replace the trans vs a few extra bucks in gas you burn with having it in OD.Another nice feature I saw in your truck is the Pushbutton 4WD u have hehehe :0) Thats exactly what I am fixing to do here soon.Do you or anyone else know what the interchange(years) is on the manual shift transfer case?
Thanks
To respond to the above post by Topfisherman, aren't P235-75-15's more like 29.2 in. in diameter? Thats what I have heard through the years. Anyway, I hate my stock 235's on my 79 Bronco. I have two 31x10.5-15LT's and I am looking for two more so I can get those small stock tires off there. They are way to small in my opinion. There isn't much difference but it is noticeable.
The tranny that's in mine is only about 10,000 miles old. I hope to
not have to worry about it for a while. Guess I'll just have to live with the gear hunting until I can save up the extra jingle for the gears.
No not at the moment but I should take a few.By the way what truck did you get your transfer from? Would like to know the interchange looking to go manual shift.
Funny you should ask that. I got this truck over a year ago and that's how it came to me.
I've been wondering, could an have Eddy Bauer have been delivered with a full manual 4WD in 89? There's nothing in my truck to indicate that it ever had a push button system. Where are a buttons, lights, etc, supposed to be?

Some where on the dash, I'd think Any way the shifter seems in the same place my Dads F150 was located, maybe it was build like that, other wise who ever did that mod, did a damn nice job, I'd like that set up in my 96.
