31x10.50 tire on 15x10 rim?

Can I safely put a 31x10.50 tire on a 10inch wide rim or is it to wide for the tire? anyone ever done it or have a pic of one?

A 10" wheel is too wide for a 10.50" tire. You need about an 8" wheel with that tire.

I agree. I have a 8" wheel with my 31x10.50s and it's just right. A friend has the same tire on the same wheel, but 10" wide, and his wheels look wider than the tire tread.

I really like the looks of 10' rims"American racing baja"..Would 32x11.50 tires on 10' rims fit on my 96 f150 4x4 with out rubbing? I do not have a lift but would consider leveling springs with a 1inch lift block in the rear..any suggestions here?

They'll fit but it seems that it depends a lot on the truck. I've seen 2 1996 F-150's with 302's and autos and both had 32's. One my friend bought was black and he got it from an older man who kept the truck in great shape. His 32's did not rub at all. My other friend whos 96 was green and white was used. His 32's rubbed at full lock and full stuff. How beat are your springs? Some times they can rub on the bummper which most people trim and inch and then have no problems.

You can do 32 on 10" rims as long as they have decent backspacing. Most tire manufactures list 10" in the ratings for the 32s.
