Z plan prices?
Hi all,
What's the typical savings on the Z-plan. That's how I may purchase my 350. Generally what's the percentage of savings.
I've looked at cardirect.com and at the X-plan. Cardirect seems comparable in price
I know I need to have a relative that retired from Ford to be eligible
Thanks,
Bud

My X-Plan price on my 250 ended up being about $500 under the published invoice for the truck (available at edmunds.com).
The Xplan price on the Ranger was about $100 under the published invoince....

On A-Plan purchases the dealer is required to show you the factory supplied invoice if you request it.I'd say the same holds true for Z-Plan purchases also.
In Jan.of 97 I purchased a leftover 96 1/2 ton truck on A-Plan and there was a $1500 dealer incentive on it.Basically FOMOCO supplied negotiating $ money for the dealer.I was automatically given this amount off of the purchase price on top of A-Plan.
I don't know if this necessarily applies in all cases, but I suspect it does.I have seen Ford state that rebates may not apply in A-Plan purchases but I can not remember an instance when they weren't given to A-Plan buyers when they were also offered to the general public.
I believe most of this info. applies to Z-Plan purchases also.
A-Plan and Z-Plan purchases are,IMO,a very good deal and saves $$$$ as well as purchase price negotiating hassles. If you've got a trade in don't let them short change you on trade in because "you're already getting a good deal on Z-Plan".
Good Luck

$14,865 + tax.
I don't remember how much less A-Plan was than sticker since it's been over 5yrs.ago.BTW,this isn't the 96 that's in my gallery.
Have the person that's getting you the Z-Plan call Ford if you want the absolute figures.

Hey there,
Could you measure it if you get a chance to. I'd say that you're currently in excess of 84" Right now, my 4x4 f150 with 8" of lift and 33" tires measures 82" or so I'm trying to decide on a lift and tires, when I get my SD but I have to keep it under 90" or it won't fit in the carport
Thanks,
Bud
