Z plan prices?
I bought my 2002 V10 for $28,400 using the X-plan. It had a MSRP of 36,020. The Xplan brought it down to 31,900 and I got an additional $2500 Ford factory rebate. The dealer invoice "sticker" was $32,477.
My Edit, I just went back and read some more so here is a little more info that will help you. You will have to get a pin number from the relative that retired from Ford. With this pin number you can go to any Ford Dealership and they have to quote you the Z plan price if they participate in the program and show you their orginal invoice price. One thing to remember is that the pin number expires after a short peroid of time but a new one can be issued if it does expire. The pin number can be gotten in a matter of minutes so don't worry about expiration.
Another thing, Don't worry too much about some dealership trying to shaft you. Ford watches the transactions of the A & Z plans carefully. If the dealership screws up Ford usually will catch it and make it right. Once when I bought one truck Ford did come back on the dealership and paid me money. Most dealers know this and they also know that their dealership can be taken away for purposely charging you over the Z plan. Now things are even better. Everything is on their computer tied into the factory. All they do now is plug in the pin number and I think it's the VIN number and the price comes straight from the factory.
Hope this helps, Sam

Yeah, all of these posts helped, big time! It looks like the A/Z plans save about 15% over the MSRP

Also, concerning the PIN expiring. I got mine back in May, so it's probably expired
Do I need to recontact my relative and beg for another one?
Or, can they issue another one to me from the one that I already have? :-X12Thanks, again, all for the info.
