rear end

'56 F100, with a 351 Windsor and C-6 Tranny. Need to install without any additional welding or hassel a Ford 9" rear end. Still want to use stock 15 " wheels. Any suggestions as to what to install??? Need good road gears.

A 1968 F100 has the correct width spring perches so it is a direct bolt in. Usually they come with 3.50 gearing as well. Its what I swapped into my 56, then I swapped third members for one with 3.89 gears and a detroit locker.

Actually all 1957 through 1972 F100 rear ends are a simple bolt in.
There's a lot more if you are willing to remove and replace the springs perches (which of course, involves welding).....
