To override the supplemental code, you would have to take it into the dealer and have them erase it. Also, when you type in all caps, it is like yelling.
You can program your own code in. The procedure is explained in the owner's manual. Enter the code from under the dash followed by (1-2) I think, double check that. Then enter your new code. It needs to have the same amount of digits as the factory code. If that doesn't work post a reply and I will post the procedure out of the manual if you don't have one. That should override the previous owner's code.
