Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have a 352 FE with a C6 automatic tranny that is going in a custom application. I need a rear sump oil pan and pick up tube. I don't want to spend big bucks on a new fancy model, so does anyone have, or know where I can get a good used rear sump pan and pick up tube? I have tried the local salvage yards with no luck.
Hey there,
The factory 4x pans are out there. On ebay all the time. Milodon makes one, but pricey. In wrecking yards they're the first thing to go around here. I just bought an extra one from my machine shop to make my engine changeout faster. They had it sitting in the back for years. Another option is the 10 quart big truck pan. you can cut these to any size you need and weld your own pickup tube. I have a couple of these from 391's.
try www.dscmotorsports.com, i believe i saw a kit in the there rear pump oil pan and pickup tube i dont remember how much it cost, just go to the website and click on engine blocks and parts, good luck
