Only earthquake you will have to worry about is farting from chili
That is a very picturesque phrase Andy...

Yes, I will come visit you next month. When, what day, and remember, where ever I am, Sliknspeedy is too.

We now know where Conway is, having been through it a number of times this month.

Used to live in CA - been through my fair share (including the one in 1987 or so that knocked out the power during the world series - that one was a real whopper!)

Glad to hear you're ok. Not fun at all.

I believe it was 1989. I was walking on a downtown SF street when plate glass windows started blowing out and ornamental concrete cornices started crashing to the sidewalks from many stories above. The sidewalks were crowded. I saw many folks just miss getting hit from above. People dove into doorways and huddled all over each other until it was done shaking. The sound was something I will never forget. The dust when it ended was so thick you could not see 30 feet. I have been jittery about earthquakes ever since.

Glad to hear you're okay. I don't know which is worse, earthquakes or tornadoes. Been in a couple of tornadoes myself. Would you want the earth to swallow you up or the wind carry you away? Both very scary thoughts!

Earthquake's are much more scarey for me

I was in the Republik of Kalifornia for a couple small ones and no thank you!!! At least with a tornado's you can see them commin and get prepared or at least the storm lets you know its possible where as an earthquake there is no forewarning

Yeah, I still remember it - if it was 1989, then I was 7 years old

My mom had run out for a few minutes (to pick up milk or something). I was in the family room when things started to boogie - I jumped on the couch and covered my dome with a pillow. After it was done, I got up and started trucking for the front door.

Scary stuff!
