All day! I went to post, and lost contact... Sitting here with massive withdrawal symptoms, tremors and feelings of isolation. lol.
What a peaceful afternoon I had, no internet to get in the way, no email, no controversy to debate... I must do this more often, I wonder what that plug does..........
Theo and Grey - I hope some of these will help you. They were from this past weekend as I went around Salt Lake and up by Sundance where Robert Redford does his thing. I am glad I am moving to beautiful scenery - sure beats Atlanta's...
The camera wasn't the best, but that just gives me a reason to go back...
Wow... That canyon is a lot tougher than I remembered it.
Then again, it's a lot hotter outside than I'd like it to have been.
There are three ways into Penasquitos Canyon.
Hike, bike, or ride a horse.
This is the trail head at the eastern end (Black Mountain Road).
My bike didn't come out too well...
The farther in you go, the more the scenery changes. It opens out, and
there are fewer trees as you go west.
Behind the rock in the upper right of the picture above is this hidden spot -
I need to make a lot more training rides before I'm ready to really hit this
trail like I used to. I feel half annihilated right now, and the bike could use
another water bottle and cage. Oh well - "A" for effort, right???

PS: Cobra - Nice pic's, man!
PPS: It looks like I got a drop of sweat on the lens just before the last picture; It figures...

Hey wolf- get a camelpack, or one of those other water packs. They work great, and you really don't notice the weight, plus you don't have to stop for water. Just don't bite when you breath in.
