Sounds scary.
The news describes the effects as a gentle role that caused no harm. Funny how they downplay some things. I'm sure that, that gentle role scared the hell out of alot of people.
Glad to hear all is well.

Another reason not to work and live in a city. My future office will never feel an earthquake when I'm at work.

Glad nothing bad happened.

funny how a roll can make a 35 story building sway for 10 minutes
I hate earthquakes, the scare me more than anything else, price you pay to live in California I guess..
They have made us all shut our blinds because the building is pressurized and if they are to break, they will inward .....
Thanks everyone for your well wishes

I am about 4 hours away from the epicenter... so nothing fell down here but I have heard there were 3 deaths so far from a building coming down...

another point of concern is Hearst Castle, an amazing place that I hope is still intact

I didn't feel a thing a couple of hours away. I was on the computer. Maybe I was not awake.

It damn near shoke me out of bed. I was laying there, resting a bit, and then heard it, and felt it. Shoke hard for about 15 secs. Then I had to go to work.. One building collaspe, and to fatalities. Small rupture in a city water tank, and sever structure fires in the county. It could have been alot worse, and thats what surprised me. Paso Robles took the brunt of it, even though the epicenter was 24 miles away.
