Unhappy Chip confusion

Hi guys, my first post so bear with me. I have two Fords that I would like to change chip settings on, my 99 E250 and my 2001 F350. Looks like from what I have read the Superchps 1715 is the way to go. I can buy one item and change or adjust both of my vehicles. I did read somewere that our buddys at Ford put a inferior line pressure device on one if not both of my trucks, (sorry I can't recall the proper name), will I have to change this to help with the life of my transmissions or will the chip take care of it?

The programmer will only tune one truck at a time, so it's one or the other, not both, you could send it back in and have them reset it so you could tune the second truck, but it would probally cost some good money. You can read codes off of other trucks at any time, regardless of having one of the trucks tuned, so you can use the programmer to read codes of alot of fords. That is a strong point of the programmer. I don't know anything about one of the trucks having something that blocks you from adding line pressure, I dought there is such a thing. For the money you might want to look into a regular chip, by the time you get the programmer reset it would (probally) cost about the same. I would deffinety suggest one of these, even if you leave it on the 87 octane setting the trans. mods. would justify the cost of programmer or the chips.

The line pressure device I was talking about is the Transmission
Accumulator pressure valve, If you get a chip do you still have to change the pressure valve to the diablo accumulator valve to increase line pressure.

If you need to tune a 2nd vehicle you need to buy a 2nd tuner. You can reset a tuner but Superchips charges $200 + shipping and then you will not be able to restore the 1st vehicle to stock programming. That's about the same cost as a Diablo stage 1 chip.
