hang10, I would get the superchips 1715 (like $200-225), it will give you a bit more power and change the shift points/pressure. You can restore the stock program when/if you supercharge it and then sell the programmer to get most of your money back. I bought a cat back exhaust kit (dual out the back) and an FM40 for about $200 dollars. I think you could make these 2 mods and do the airbox trick I've seen posted here and get a reasonable increase in power for very little $$. I added the 1715, exhaust and the K&N setup and there was a very noticable increase over stock, I'm guessing the Airbox trick will let you save the $200+ from K&N and get a near equiv. gain in airflow.

Did motorhaven raise there prices? I know I bought it from motor haven and I didnt pay anywhere near $361. I thought I paid around $250 for it and assumed prices would go down.
Nope, we've never sold one for $250, except qty discounts to retailers. We have unadvertised prices on Microtuners that are far less than $361 but you have to call to get that price. Superchips will no longer allow anyone to advertise for less $361.39. They put this policy in place last month.

Hey anfo. I have a stick, can't change my shift points. Thinking really hard about the exhaust and intake though. Having second thoughts on supercharging it. If I sell it, I doubt I would get my money back out of it. I don't know, I have a few months to think it over though.
I just ordered a K&N CAI, for my 2006 f150, I have a Magnaflow Exhaust, I was gonna order the tuner with it but I am undecided between the Hypertech, and the Superchip flashpaq. Any ideas, Im not a racer just want to change the tire size and rev limiter along with firmer shifts. Any help would be glady appreciated. Also any do's or Donts when I receive my CAI. and attempt to install, I saw the PDF instr. they look fairly simple.
