I drive a 97 Explorer XLT 4.0 (4WD) and from a while back I noticed that heat from the engine or tranny is coming out from the floor right under dashboard and center console, this is not the normal heat from A/C since it comes out even when A/C is set to off.
Weather is hot around here most of the time and I drive with the A/C on and cold air is usually directed to the face/floor vents making this heat hard to notice, however as weather becomes colder and no A/C is needed this heat becomes rather noticeable and uncomfortable... any ideas as to what might be causing this problem?
