Lariat cowl emblem question

Lariat cowl emblem question
Need help.
i have a 1978 F250 Ranger Camper Special Supercab Lariat.
I have the rectangular inserts missing out of the cowl emblem.
I assumed these are the "Lariat" emblems.
Or xlt is so equipped on other trucks.
LMC Truck tells me I only need one for one side. Is there something different that goes in the other side? Or are they misinformed?
Let me know what other lariat owners have. Thank you!

D8TZ-16720-C .. Lariat Emblem - Reproduced ~ 1978/79 F100/350.
LMC's phone order takers are minimum wage clucks, wouldn't know a Lariat from a henway. LMC has no Ford parts catalogs, so the clucks cannot verify anything.
The only thing these clucks can do is look in their LMC catalogs that have a gazillion errors and omissions.

Weren't the Lariat plates the same from 1978/79 all the way through to the late 80's?
I swear I've done this comparison before with the two side by side, tape measure in hand. Never caught any photos of it, but NumberDummy can likely verify.
