4wd Conversion
I tried doing a search, either it hasn't been discussed too much, or my search terms just aren't doing the trick. Anyway, I've got an 88 E-250 van that used to be a fedex truck. So it would be a good tool hauler/camping gear as well as towing vehicle for a suzuki samurai bush buggy. What I need to know is a D50 IFS a bolt in affair (minus spring mounts and the rest of the drivetrain) like a D44 in an F150, or is it more involved? Just looking at the IFS over a solid axle for ease of installation. Its not going to be a hard core 4x4, just nice to have it incase it needs to do a rescue of somesort. Thanks.

I have been fortunate. All 3 of my 4x4 vans were done by a shop that does new ones from the factory. I presently have a 1978 E250 that was converted by pathfinder.
