Crown Vic IFS
Hey guys I know this topic comes up a lot, I have access to a 98 and a 2000 crown Vic ifs, but on all the topics I have searched on here people only seem to be using the 2003+ years. Did they change their track width? Or is there another reason why I haven't seen any that were before then?
I just don't want to pick up this ifs if it isn't going to work on the 54 frame.

I can't say for sure Jason but I think the ones after 2003 were made of aluminum and are a bolt in were as the earlier ones may have been welded in. The more reliable sources should be along soon....:_

Ran across a kit on ebay " really only a prefab box " to put the crown vic front end in looks pretty simple wouldn't be hard to make but was only around $250 so if your time is valuable or you feel it's something you wouldn't want to tackle its a pretty fast easy way
