I have a 93 F250 with a 7.3L diesel.
When I put my foot on the brake the vacuum pump ticks, it didn't use to do this. Is this a good thing?
Sometimes when I put the brake on the pedal is so hard it won't go down but maybe an inch. When it does this there is very little if any braking done. If you let off the pedal and then pump it once or twice the rock hard pedal goes away and then you can stop. Any ideas on what this might be?
