Engine Miss
I have a miss or hesitation in my 68 F100 360 I cannot figure out. I have timed it and check all hoses for leaks. It has a pertronix ignition and everything else is stock. Changing the timing did change where this miss or hesitation occurs. It runs great except for the hesitation. I'm not sure when it first occured, but it does have a newer carb and that's when I started to noticed it. I checked the jet in the carb and it is the correct size. I was told to do a compression check because one of my cylinders may have low compression. I have not done that yet. Any other thoughts???

Sounds like it's in your carb, not the ignition.
Unfortunately, I'm not very good at diagnosing carb problems.
Maybe we should move this to the FE Forum where the engine gurus hang out.
What carb are you running?
