Beware 2003 CD6 stereo
I could be wrong.........I think that happened once before, but as I read the "build and price" the stereo delete does just that. It deletes the single CD stereo but retains the speakers. If you deleted the stereo on your order and then rec'd the single CD/cassette unit, I think you did O.K. I sent a "snotty-gram" to Ford Canada regarding this thread three weeks ago and haven't heard back yet. However, I'm still discussing this with my dealer. As they say.."It ain't over 'til it's over".
As for the $1000.00CAN, if you follow the money markets you'll realize that's about $8.50 anywhere else.
Take care.

You get the stereo below,
Radio: ETR AM/FM Stereo w/Cassette/Clock
Deletes standard single CD. Includes 4-speakers. -$730
So in effect, you're paying $730 to upgrade from a Ford cassette to a Ford single CD.

I'd keep on them, it'd take Ford all of 5 minutes (and cost them nothing really) to swap your unit for one that does shuffle the CD's. After spending the money you did, and having certain expectations, it is the LEAST that Ford can do.

Sad but true.Waxy
You're absolutely right! It is the least Ford could do, but their not responding. My dealer offered to reimburse the $300 but I don't feel THEY should have to as they did their job and it is FORD's truck! Your thoughts?
