What would be the optimum shift points for my set up? 460 with 3:73, P255/70SR15 tires, I have adjusted the modulator but it still seems to shift early. It's actually hard to tell when it shifts, I'll have to pay attention to the tach.
If there is a way to look up the modulator and arms used for a 1979 f350 C6 with 4.11’s, I’d recommend that specific combinations of shift arms etc.
mine won’t shift out if 1st until it’s above 20 and won’t shift into 3rd until it is above 40. It will also downshift at 15 and 35 respectively regardless of throttle input.
there is also no question if it shifted. It is very noticeable. Not hard but definitely not so soft that you need a tach to see it.
