My 2022 F250 with the 7.3l has 58k miles on it. I bought it used and have put 10k on it, basically all towing 5500lb car trailer. It has 58900 miles, 2114 total hours and 485 idle hours. I am going to change the plugs around 60k and am wondering if I need to replace the plug wires as well, or just carry a spare, as I do now.

8 plug wires are $254 for Motorcraft from Rock Auto. I don't mind replacing them if they need it but I'd rather not if they don't. I guess it's a roll of the dice if I don't.

I change all the wires at the second plug change of 200 k miles. When I do the next plug change later in the year not changing plug wires.
I went ahead and ordered a complete set of plugs and wires. Since it is a Covid era truck and I have no history, I will play it safe and replace them. I will keep the old ones for spares.
