OTA update for window reversing issue

I've never experienced this window issue personally in my 2026, but I've read about many others having issues. Looks like a fix is rolling out...?

You'll get 2 of these, DDM for the driver door module and PDM for the passenger door module.

I've had it happen a couple of times on a 2023. Found a relearn procedure online somewhere and used that. It worked.

My 2023 does it once in a blue moon, and now, all of a sudden, my 2025 does it.

My 23 did that a few times in the 5 month i owned it, Now I really hope the 26 dont have that issue.

Mine WASN'T doing it until this spring, when it started doing it. When it does bounce back, it doesn't want to re-learn the 'up' closed position, until walking through it a few times.

Just did it again yesterday. No rhyme or reason to it doing it.

My '26 did it a few times when I first got it. Did the re-learning thing, and was good after that. Just did the update last night.

The OTA update team at Ford must be working overtime these days. I think I have gotten 5-6 of them in the last 4-6 weeks.

I got the OTA on the door module last night and no problems yet. I remember when I was a Cadillac Tech. and the programming in the dealership started back in 2000 and it was a nightmare at first. The first ECM I had to program would not program and bricked the module. I called techline and was told to keep trying new modules until I got one to program and I thought expensive but got one to on the third one. This OTA stuff is awesome. Steve
