Karl posted the connector link above at rockauto.com. If you can get the oval connector too you can make your own pigtail. You just need some wire.
Looking deeper he posted the switch which would take a connector that looks like the one on your frame rail. I wasn't wrong, only off by the gender. But that gets mixed up all the time these days so I'll take a mulligan
I surmised that Ford probably used the same main harness for every truck and then used the appropriate pigtail for what ever transmission went into the build. I can't see them only using a particular harness for the AOD…
I am in full agreement on that. I thought that is what I verbosely said. All trucks probably got the same main harness. The pigtail (or adapter as I called it) between the main harness and transmission was specific to the transmission.
We wouldn’t be having such confusion if Dave had simply stayed under his truck and awaited requests for further information. But no! So selfish…
Well those stock photos weren't very helpful Max, would you mind getting back under there get some shots showing your NSS switch and pigtail? Better take your phone so that Karl can phone you when all questions are answered. Maybe a pillow and blanket under there to make your wait more comfy?
Sorry, I went back out under the truck and those are the only wires going to the AOD.
I did kind of clean the four wires so theyh are easier to see. She wants to get the grill going now so I'll be away for a few... I'm not sure where the NSS is on my truck... I'll check Gary's site when I get time.
I would say that is the NSS also.
If you were to pull the wire plug off it looks like the "switch" uses a wrench to unscrew it from the transmission.
Dave ----
The truth why not under the truck wife had an operation on her brain and I been taking care of her.
Hay I was close by you just had to ask. If I stayed under the truck the wife might think I was dead and sell all my crap

Thanks guys.
It was done because she had head acks and dizzy that would not stop.
This was the last thing to try as they dont have any more in the bag of tricks to try.
They say it would be 2 or 3 weeks till it would get better and tomorrow is 3 weeks.
She is getting around without a walker and starting to give me a hard time about things so she is coming around but still has the problems time will tell.
Dave ----
Hey, just had an idea. Since she is still recuperating, how about we lighten the load for her? We'd be glad to give you a hard time about things, so she can concentrate on getting better. Let her know the process is in good hands, so she can relax.
