I can get my hands on the plug in to my brake controller but I can't unplug it. I am only getting 6 volts at the plug to my trailer. I need to disconnect the controller to test it. it looks to me like to take the center portion of the kick panel off you have to remove the dash. I have the drivers side kick panel off but the plug is on the right side of a hole in the frame of the dash. I can put my hand through the hole but can't release the clips on each side of the plug. Any suggestions?
