I've officially made it to Amarillo from SE CT. 2080 miles, about 58 hours, including sleep/eat/taking the dog outside. 19,000 lbs gross, and got 9.72 MPG average. I was very happy with the way the truck handled the 30 ft fifth wheel trailer, especially with the huge wind load from the height.
Is the white a wrap or paint? I talked to a guy with a new SD; blue metallic with white and he told me the white was a wrap - it looked really good. The 2 tone on yours looks great.
It's paint. The original owner had that done before I bought the truck back in 2004. I used to like it, but now I think I'd prefer it without the white. There are thousands of red trucks out there, and only a few like mine. Oh, and the paint they used couldn't have been great. It's def a single stage, and I have to keep knocking a layer of chalky oxidation off with compound : (
We plan to get another 5er someday when we are free to travel. Saw a 2004 Arctic Fox like that on FB recently, back when interiors had warm wood tones and not soulless grey plastic.
My plan is to have the truck wrapped to match the trailer.
A few years ago there were some big wildfires here in Calif and I did not wash off the ashes promptly. The horizontal surfaces of my truck lost the clearcoat as a result. Looks pretty good from the side tho.
If I was to do it again, I'd look for an Arctic Fox from 2005+. I'm pretty sure that's when they started using the aluminum frames for the superstructure.

don't know if the year makes any difference, but the thin as paper wood frames are a joke.
you don't dare walk on the roof, without being super careful to find a main beam that will support your weight.
the side walls? almost 1" thick, from inner skin to outer skin...
Wiring placement? there is no preplanning, it depends on the drunkard who ran the wire, and drilled holes right through the main support beams...
ask me how I know that crap...
oh, don't you dare ask why none of the switches are labeled as to what they control????
my Toy Hauler has about 12 switches in a row, all of them white, and not a single label,
until I sorted them out, and labeled them.
