Does anyone know if the 2002 short bed (5.5 feet) is the same as the 2011 bed, same size? I don't care about tail lights. I'm interested in the interior sheet metal. I have the 2011 with the factory plastic bed-liner.
I want to add some tie-downs, but I can't tell what's what behind the plastic. My son has a 2002, and no bed-liner. If they are the same, I can take measurements and make some informed decisions about where to mount some tie downs.
Updating for anyone looking for this info. They are not the same. They are QUITE different. I looked up a seller of used pickup beds, and found he had very good pictures online. They are clearly different. Here are the pics:
