SEAT HEIGHT EXCURSION V F250
So, I love my 2000 V-10 Excursion but I picked up a 2003 6.0 F250 pick up. A Florida truck it has every option but heated seats. Adjusting mirrors and the seat to drive it home and I adjusted the seat and it went up to a position my Excursion never reached. The Ex I always felt I was sitting on the ground.. Do '03 Ex seats adjust high as the pick ups or is this just a truck thing.

This truck also has a drivers side grab handle. Anyone know if I can add a drivers side grab handle to my ex??

03 Excursions as well as the Super Duty’s added the grab bar, any thing is possible if you want install one. Good luck

For 2000 you'll also have to add nutserts or some sort of threaded holes for the grab handle as there were none.

I never noticed a difference between my ex and f250, same year range. Maybe your seat foam in your excursion is worn out.

My Ex's seat is torn and I would say worn but this seems to me a good 2" or 3" it's a noticeable difference.
I'll measure it and get back to you guys.

make sure both your front and rear tilt on the X are working, both are used for full up and full down height...

yeah that’s weird. Does your ex seat move up and down with the tilt and recline buttons?

perhaps one of the seat motors is faulty and unable to reach the max height.

I have a 99 super duty extra cab XLT ,4x4 , and recently purchased a 2006 super cab 4x4 lariet.
I noticed the seat is like you said , in the 06 .
seems to have more travel up .
But then again , the 99 has over 600k miles on it , the cloth is still pristine, but the foam is sagging .
