Excursion saet
Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement front bucket seat for a 2004 Excursion. This seat is the most uncomfortable thing i have ever sat on including a park bench?
I have had some of the padding removed and recovered but replacement seams to be the way to go. I just need some suggestions

I think the 2000-2001 seats are more comfortabe than later seats, though I have gotten used to my '03. My '99 Superduty had the best seat ever.
Do you have power seats? Both my '99 and current '03 do and it makes a big difference being able to adjust seat height.

It is not the adjustments that are in question it is the general comfort of the seat. There is none.
I will try and find an earlier seat for fit and have it recovered to match my interior.

I drive from NY to FL (17hrs) in my 03 seat. Even after 160 k very comfortable. Power option helps a lot. I tilt the seat bottom up in front for leg support and adjust the back upright so I still sit straight. Also have a crank handle on side to tighted back support.
Drove to South Carolina in the wife's Mercedes 350 GL last week. Almost turned around half way thru Jersey to get my Ex.
I think the wiring is there even if you didn't get pwr seats originally.
