2000 excursion swaping 03 power heated memory seat problems! How do I delete memory function?
I picked up a 2000 excursion with power drivers seat but both the front leather seats where in rough shape. I found 2 leather power heated front seats out of a 03 excursion so i purchased those to swap. The drivers seat is giving me some wiring issues. I went to the junk yard and got the wiring harness for the front seats out of a excursion. I tried just powering up the drivers seat from instructions on other posts here but no go, no power or heat. The drivers seat appears to have a memory function and I cant figure out how to by pass it. Has anyone done this or have any sugestions? Thanks Jayme

I believe you should be able to swap the seat track from the original seat to the new seats - then you should have no wiring issues. A little late perhaps but I picked up a seat bottom cover replacement from theseatshop.com - a few hours of pain in the *** work but looks like new now!

The biggest thing I was shooting for was the heated seats. Our winters are pretty chilly in SD. I came up with a idea after I took the seats out and looked at the bottoms. The passneger 03 heated seat only has 3 wires so I am going to remove all the extra modules in the drivers seat and wire it the exact same as the passenger with the seatbelt wire and I should be good to go.
