Solenoid problems
I hoping some could give clarification on wires that go to battery side of solenoid terminal. I have a 1979 F150 with a 4.9. My question is how many wires should be on battery side of solenoid. I have three plus battery cable.
1- Black
1- Red or could be Orange
1- Yellow
Does that seem correct

A few pictures might help. Are you referring to the starter solenoid?
