I have searched and searched this forum and have not found anything that will help me find the pass through wires under the dash. I’ve seen some videos that show where they are in the engine bay, but I haven’t started to look for them, yet. I’ve about ruined my back under the dash. Any help would be appreciated. One search that I found, the guy ended up running new wires through the dash, but I’d rather use the ones that Ford provided.
For me, removing the glove compartment then looking at the right side of the firewall found them. Keep in mind these wire are a very small gauge and should not be used for high current applications.
Best of luck.
Thanks guys. I’m only going to use one for a high idle control, so it will be very low current. I took off the glove compartment, the kick panel, the cardboard thing and I found the upfitter wires right away. I can’t believe the Ford Engineers put them in an area that is so difficult to reach. Maybe they want us to have the dealer mechanics do the work.
Archion, I remembered the thread that you linked, but I sure couldn’t find it with the search function.
Mine were hard to find as well. I had to reach up from the bottom and then they were kind of sitting on top of the fuse box. The large gray connector you see in the photo was hiding them.

I’ve been working on the truck for the better part of the day. Like you, I finally found the pass thru wires in top of the fuse box, not on the side like others found them. Since these are customer access wires, Ford should put them where the customer can reach them without being a contortionist. Thanks again to all that helped me.
