I picked up a replacement rear split window over the weekend and need a little help ID'ing it so i can get the correct gasket for it. The gasket that was with it appears to be very different than my original setup.
I have no idea the brand was used OEM, but in 2022 pretty sure was Precision brand solid seal ("no lock strip groove" like OEM) we used to replace the OEM one that was starting to show age since was doing a little work there. The slider is OEM, we kept it. I had tinted it with film. A lock strip in chrome would look silly next to aluminum window frame and while could have used a black lock strip, seemed useless.
Looking at your slider, seeing bright sections and black sections, it looks aftermarket, but as far as I know they all used the seal that fit the truck, whether it used a lock strip or was solid cross section.
So the aftermarket works with any year, just get the right year gasket? I was looking at it from the point of view of the needed to get the gasket for the year of the window, regardless of the truck year it was going into.

If it's the correct shape. I think the shape is same up into early or mid '90s, but those used thinner glass, so maybe different rubbers? I also recall some aftermarket ones used fillers at top to adapt a straight window frame to the slight curve of our window openings. It can get confusing.

That is how I’m going to go about it. I think the older aluminum style frame was thicker than the newer style metal frame. When the time comes I’ll do a deeper dive into the different frame thickness and gasket gap. Maybe call the manufacturer about the dimensions. Hopefully I’ll get someone knowledgeable on the phone?
I’m not sure what year they actually changed the shape of the frame. Maybe 86? Maybe 96? But from reading on here, the thickness of the frame changed after 79. That may be why my slider rotted out under the window. I had the older style used gasket with an aftermarket metal slider.
