Well, it's aluminum and not very sturdy, does that sound right for those vans? I've never had a 68-73

If aluminum, then damn sure not a door hinge
I researched that basic part number and came up empty
When I decided on door hinge, the 68-73 came up but the basic number was different

To my eye that looks like some sort of removable latch for an early dog house maybe?
