Wrong Fuel Pump 8BA

The pump was advertised on eBay as a fitting my flathead. Am I missing something or is this the wrong pump?

Looks like the wrong pump. The KEM571BR stamping leads me to believe it is a 571 family of fuel pump which I believe is used with 1942-47 Ford Trucks, 1942-48 Ford and Mercury Cars, and 1946-48 Lincoln Cars with the V8. It looks very similar, but ultimately, is incorrect.

I agree with the others.

It definitely looks more rounded than mine. (1953 8RT should be the same as the 8BA)

ETA: Looks like it fits the 1948 or earlier. The 1949-1953 (1954 in Canada) use the pump with the larger flange.
