Morimoto issues/Taillights
2022 F250 SuperDuty Lariat. When I bought it 8 months ago, it had morimoto led tailights and aftermarket mirror sequential blinkers. I had to go into forscan because it was rapid blinking sometimes
on the right blinker. Well, the other day, the tailight on the passenger side was out, checked the connections, no luck. So I bought aftermarket LED tailights on Ebay w/harnesses and blis system. After replacing the tailights, all was good, until I realized that when you step on the brake, the white light on the mirrors come on, let go of the brake, they go off. Just would like to know if someone else has gone through
this. Tailights work fine, just the mirrors lighting up when you step on the brake... thanks in advance, I don't know where to begin, uggh..

It’s a shame that they couldn’t make a good product. They look good, but the general consensus on the Morimotos is that they are garbage. I wouldn’t waste my money on them. OP, sorry you got stuck with them.

that is not my experience with them for headlights. i had their XB lights on my 16 and they were great.

Mostly from what I have seen is the full headlight and tail light assemblies that is so terrible. I hear their bulbs only are about as good as any other bulb you get... some have good luck and they last a couple of years, some go out in a few months... Either way, I have seen way more unhappy posts about Morimoto than happy posts, and it's an easy decision to choose a different brand. Glad you like your's though!

I hear their bulbs only are about as good as any other bulb you get... some have good luck and they last a couple of years, some go out in a few months... Either way, I have seen way more unhappy posts about Morimoto than happy posts, and it's an easy decision to choose a different brand. Glad you like your's though!
