Looking to possibly run these classic bias ply tires on my F1004x4. Not sure how wide of a rim
i need tho. Anyone run these Gateway/Maxxis Buckshot Mudders?

yeah, I was thinking the same
thing, but not planning on it being a daily. Any idea what size I can run? Truck has no lift, just stock 4x4. I was thinking 33’s should be good?
For the tire size it depends.
1) What is your plan for the truck? (Off roading, cruising, just some yard work)
2) What engine & trans do you have, if its a 6cly with 3 speed stay with that tire size.

1) cruising, some off-road, nothing super serious.
2) came with a 360, it MIGHT have a 428 (see previous posts) and factory 4spd manual.
From some Facebook feedback, I’m steering away from this tire and considering some others.
All options are 33x10.5x15, with Wheel Vintiques 15x8 steel wheels.

I'm running BF Goodrich Mud Terrain 31 x 10.5 x 15 on stock rims 15 x 6". I have factory new rear springs at stock height and 1.5" lift leveling kit in front.
I can tell you with fair certainty that with stock height, you will rub if you go 33 x 12's with factory rims. If you go with aftermarket rims with a fair amount of offset, you may get away with it.
I actually had to use 1/2" wheel spacers with mine as I was getting a little running at full turn, but the spacers did the trick.

Truck is 67 F100 SB
Looks good! Is that 2wd or 4wd? Mine’s 4wd so I’m thinking it should have more height/clearance than a 2wd.
