Yet another tire question
LT285/75R18 vs 35/12.50/18's
Mainly worried about the rim width. The 285's are recommended for my factory 8" wide wheels. The 35's are not, but I know that people do it all the time. Don't want to wear out the centers, or have any handling issues.

Not sure I see a question but are you asking if the 35x12.5 will be ok on the factory wheels?
If so than yes, lots of people do it and have no issues. The odd tire shop will be picky about it but they are the exception not the norm.

I know that 35x12.50r18 are done on factory wheels all the time, i guess what I'm wanting to know is if anyone has experience with both. I am just naturally assuming that the 285"s will handle and wear better.
