i have a full set i got from either the mac tool truck, or napa around 45 years ago.
i never messed with UVCH connectors, so i can not tell you if they can be unpinned or not. but by looking at your picture i think they are a sealed connector and can not be unpinned.

So, are you saying it CAN be popped apart with this tool? Probably push on the black spots in the blue area? I think I'll just cut the wires doing one at a time, put on heat shrink and solder the connections. That way the passenger side will be new uvch & pigtail. I got the passenger side all put back together including the IC pipe. I'm hoping this 'heat dome' as they call it will go away soon!

I would believe able to disassemble the connector!

High pressure sucks, I was in AZ for one summer in '21. 115-117F heat, brutal in the day. I would do anything first in A.M. or late at night. Messed up my sleep schedule for a while!

If in Phoenix, 98KUPD has the Easter Keg deal this coming Friday!!!

I managed to solder and heat shrink the pigtail on and it runs well. Done with that! Now I have company coming so I'll wrap up the wiring harness with foil and tape later.

Yes it has Tom! So far, so good. Time will tell for sure, I've only done a couple of test runs, nothing very long. I also got one of those new CPS's from Clay, very expensive! After company leaves I'll put that in.

By the way, has anybody tried that 'expensive' CPS from riffraff? I haven't gotten a chance to put it in yet.

Sounds good, I'll get it put in in between my wife's doctor appointments.

Make sure you let us know how it does. Lots of super duty feedback but not much OBS information. While it should mirror their experience it is nice to hear it from the ox’s mouth.

"Better than ox mouth" refers to a variation of the proverb "It is better to be the head of a chicken than the tail of an ox" (or "beak of a hen"), which promotes leading a small group over being an insignificant member of a large one. It advises choosing leadership and autonomy over being a follower in a prestigious, but large, organization......

This forum offers so much more than truck fixing
