Hi All
So I was driving home today and all of a sudden there was a rumbling noise then my brake pedal got really hard to push, I had to use both feet to get the truck to stop. I got a warning to check my brakes. I tried to shut off the truck and restart but the pedal stayed hard. after a little bit I heard a noise and the brake went back to normal. I checked my EZ link and it showed a code "c1015 undefined code " It is snowing and I was going through allot of slush, I don't know if that's why but it has been normal since
any ideas what it could be?
Only thing I did out of the normal was I flexed the truck off road but that was last Friday
Thanks in advance for any help
I'll guess! If it's hydroboost and you went through slush it could let the belt slip and you would lose power steering and power brakes. Is it OK now? Did you check the brakes or anything else?

I just drove 31/2 hours and it is still good
I didn't check the brakes yet

Maybe a failure of the hydroboost unit? How is the condition of your power steering fluid? It runs off of the same pump. If a valve or something got stuck in the unit, it may happen again. I would try changing the PS fluid to prevent it happening again.

I haven't ever changed the steering fluid
I will give it a try
Thanks
