it depends on the combined lifter height and the pushrod length
If you can get it perfect to the length, like the stock setup, then no, you would not have to shave the pedestals
Generally thay want a different, stiffer valve spring with a bigger camshaft
That might require the screw in studs
It's a ton of money but i would do it to be safe
