I'm getting ready to service the diffs and transfer case on my 22 F250. I thought of the Valvoline squeeze bags but it's nearly twice as much as a 1 gallon jug. What pumps have you guys tried to do this service.
Thanks.
Steve
When I did my trans service, I bought a 2-gallon garden sprayer, the kind you pump up, and took the sprayer nozzle off the end of the wand, and used that.
Works great, if a little slow.
Lots cheaper than the more professional pump that a shop tech might use.
I have a 1/2 clear hose glued to a standard gear oil cap with the cap tip cut off to 3/8 hole. i put the tube in the gear box hole and hang the gear oil bottle upside down and squeeze and release repeat until the gear oil is bottle is empty.
I used to try various pump schemes by they all leak as you pump and it creares more mess than anything else.
