Where does this go??!!
I chkd this am there is a black piece of plastic attached to the front
seat cover material that folds under and is used to hold the seatcover
to the frame of the seat. But mine is sewn and has a glue substance on it
that keeps it attached to the material. Its a little tricky to reattach ,but if the old man can do it !!*****
Hope this helps!

Thanks for checking, Rich. I saw where it attatches the seat cover to the seat frame. It did come lose about two weeks ago and I muscled it back in place. However the piece that I am questioning is about that same length, but it is not hooked to anything at all. I'm gona check the passenger seat to see if I can find it. Thanks.

CBSUPERDUTY, it appears that this piece goes to nothing. It seems that they fall out often. I'm on a mission now!!!!!!!

For all who's interested, it goes on the inside...toward console..where the seat frame meets the jute/springs. It is the part of the seat frame they lay on. This piece goes between the seat metal lip where the jute/springs lay. It probably does not matter if it is there or not, but since it was there from the factory, I went ahead and put it back in. I think it is used the seperate the spring wires from the metal frame to prevent chafing. Well that's it...if a small piece of stripping falls from under yer seat, that's where it goes.....although you have to be a contortionist to put it back with the seat in, but it CAN be done.
