what is the easiest way to change headlight bulbs?

 

Take some screws out of the fender liner and pull it back enough to access the bulbs.

 

You might wish to state your year, trim level etc. There are various configurations over the years. I have the leds in my 2020 Lariat, highly recommend them.

 

I put LED bulbs in my factory halogen light housings, I recommend that as well. Just make sure you get LED bulbs that are rated to be replacements for the size number on the Halogen bulb. That way the bulb isn't causing all kinds of uncontrolled glare, and actually provides usable light down the road. In other words, don't buy the $20 eBay LED bulbs that are universal fit.

 

I tried that method on our 2015, and I didn't have enough wrists and elbows to make the necessary curves. After I tried that, I just went the usual way removing the trim and other accoutrements to remove the entire headlight assembly and R&R the bulbs.
