Does anyone happen to have an extra firewall ecu harness grommet laying around? The part number should be something like E3DZ-14603-A I believe. I just finished an hei conversion on my 86 and I'm looking to clean up the engine bay. I can't seem to find one of these anywhere and it's getting harder and harder to find these trucks in the yards around me.

There's a version of this without a hole, used in non computer trucks. Is that what you are searching for? If so, that's a rare find.
Here's a photo of one. Someone poked some small holes in it.
.
Definitely keep the cab sealed. Some gorilla tape, duct tape or something like that should do the job. Or take the old one with the hole in it, patch the hole with something and then put the old grommet back in.

I forget if I got that part # from here or a facebook group, but I ordered some of those plugs. In my case I was replacing the plug in the firewall near the steering column. These worked and fit great.
This look pretty close and the measurements are close enough. I'm gunna order one and give it a shot, thanks!
Hope it works for you, glad I could finally be a helper on this board. I've gotten so much help it feels good to finally pay it back, if even in a small way!
I'm needing the same grommet for my computer delete that I did. What's the info I need to get one??

Glad I stumbled across this. I forgot all about Steele Rubber website. I have a spot on my firewall i'd like to upgrade from cardboard and tape to an actual plug.
I also need a solid grommet to replace the ecm wiring that I deleted.
If you can't find one you could make yourself one. Rolls of 1/8" thick neoprene of various widths are available for about a buck a foot. Cut three pieces. One exactly the size of the opening. Contact cement a second piece that's about an 1/8" larger around centered on the sized piece. Cut a third piece that's oversized by an 1/8" or even more say a 1/4" larger on the side you want more secure. Contact cement the three pieces together and then you have a custom sized to fit grommet.
